Built in 1925, the building at Hemlock and West 10th Avenue still going strong; it's one of several well-preserved old apartment buildings in the South Granville neighbourhood. Initially known as Renfrew Lodge, the building is now called Hemlock Place.

Surprisingly, the Renfrew Lodge/Hemlock Place is not on the heritage register.
